Cadet and U14 Fencers Ready for Intense Battles in Krakow, Prague, and Sofia 

The upcoming weekend of February 8-9, 2025, promises thrilling action for cadet and U14 fencers across Europe, with top young talents gathering in Krakow, Prague, and Sofia for high-level competitions. These tournaments are the final test for cadet fencers before the Cadet European Championships, which will take place in Turkey from February 23-26. 

Cadet Circuit Krakow – Epee (Poland) 

Krakow is set to host an action-packed weekend of cadet epee competitions, bringing together elite young fencers eager to prove their skills. The event will feature both individual and team formats for boys and girls, promising intense rivalries and high-level tactical duels. 

Schedule: 

  • February 8 (Saturday) – Boys’ Epee Individual, Girls’ Epee Team 

  • February 9 (Sunday) – Girls’ Epee Individual, Boys’ Epee Team 

 

Cadet Circuit Prague – Sabre (Czechia) 

The Cadet Circuit in Prague will welcome the best young sabre fencers, competing for top honours in both individual and team categories. The fast-paced nature of sabre fencing guarantees an electrifying atmosphere at this prestigious event. 

Schedule: 

  • February 8 (Saturday) – Men’s Sabre Individual, Women’s Sabre Team 

  • February 9 (Sunday) – Women’s Sabre Individual, Men’s Sabre Team 

 

Cadet Circuit Sofia – Foil (Bulgaria) 

Sofia will play host to rising cadet foil fencers from across Europe, offering a key platform for young fencers to test themselves against top-tier opponents. The competition includes both individual and team events for men and women. 

Schedule: 

  • February 8 (Saturday) – Women’s Foil Individual, Men’s Foil Team 

  • February 9 (Sunday) – Men’s Foil Individual, Women’s Foil Team 

 

U14 European Circuit Sofia – Foil (Bulgaria) 

Adding to the excitement in Sofia, the U14 European Circuit will see the youngest fencers competing in individual foil events. This tournament serves as an essential stepping stone for aspiring athletes looking to make their mark on the international stage.

  • February 7 (Friday) – Women’s Foil Individual, Men’s Foil Individual
